Valdés 2020 - Robotics-assisted visual-motor training influences arm position sense in three-dimensional space

After a CVA, a patient can have deficits with spacial awareness, figuring out where their body is in space. Robots are showing a positive impact on the effectiveness of functional motor tasks since the robot improves upper extremity therapy through a three-dimensional space. Burt® has the ability to take the UE into 3 different planes of movement (sagittal, transverse, and frontal) to increase functional ROM. It also allows for the arm to be functioning in a 3D space.
