Every member of our sales team has a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational or Physical Therapy, and were active practitioners for years before moving to sales. This gives us the empathy and experience to understand and consult with you to deliver what is needed to support your patients.
Matt Rigby, Barrett’s Chief Commercial Officer, directly receives all feedback from team members in the field. He works closely with the product-development team to identify the features that can most help you and your patients.

Barrett's Fall 2023 release of the Burt® Library focuses on enhancing existing software, with updates such as a more engaging fish-catching experience in FishFood™ and increased arm movement requirements in FlyingEagle™. The improvements prioritize player choice and safety, including expanded options in Blackjack and enforced speed limits in Teach&Trace™, as well as quality-of-life enhancements throughout various activities, addressing small details to ensure a smoother and more efficient therapy experience for patients.
In Spring 2023, Burt® introduces LaundryLoader™, its first Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) software designed to help post-injury patients engage in meaningful tasks with a focus on safety, motor skills, and cognitive challenges. The virtual laundry simulation replicates real-world laundry activities, promoting logical sequencing, problem-solving, and motor skills development, with customizable features such as "Sort-Only" mode, haptic weights for realistic object interactions, and adjustable activity length to cater to individual patient needs.
In Fall 2022, Burt® introduces exciting new activities, including DesertDriver™, a fast-paced decision-making training with reflex and cognitive components, and expands its FishFood™ game with additional fish varieties, offering cognitive challenges like sorting and differentiation. The BurtResist™ library sees enhancements with moving hooks for added challenge and a variety of resistance methods, while BurtAssist™ in FlyingEagle™ provides assistance for patients with weaker arms, incorporating visual cues for improved navigation.
In Spring 2022, Burt® introduces three new activities, including TrailMaker™, a dual-purpose game and assessment tool that enhances cognitive skills through varied visual challenges and Trail Making assessments in 2D or 3D modes. Additionally, BurtBilliards™ provides an immersive billiards experience with options for 8-ball, 9-ball, and freeplay modes, featuring realistic gameplay mechanics and customizable enhancements, offering both entertainment and a familiar experience for patients familiar with the game.
In Fall 2021, Burt® introduces two new engaging activities - CatchMaster™ and Teach&Trace™. CatchMaster™ challenges patients with customizable gameplay involving butterfly catching, with in-game rewards for efforts that can be used to decorate a virtual garden, while Teach&Trace™ provides passive joint isolation training, allowing therapists to create repeatable paths for patients to follow for warm-up or activities of daily living preparation. The update also includes enhancements to existing games, such as the addition of bombs in PirateCatcher™ and visual clutter options in BurtFollowMe™, along with simplified difficulty levels across all games to better cater to individual patient needs.
In Spring 2021, Burt® introduces innovative features, including the BurtResist™ mode for building patient strength by resisting Burt's force during therapy in PunchParty™ and PirateCatcher™. The update also includes Baseline Assessments for tracking patient progress with consistent settings, customizable Game Playlists to expedite therapy sessions, and an improved user interface with reorganized pages, expanded data visualization, an updated remote design, and an information button for in-depth details during activities and navigation.
